The urban landscape offers us so little landscape that whenever we see a shady respite, we hope to enter the mere solitude of a spot like this and take advantage of its solitude...very nice!
Gerald, I believe you've found the perfect spot to sit in the shade and watch the traffic go by. Oh, thanks for the link, but I never can get it to work when I try to make one. I've save some of that html stuff, I guess you call it, for years and used to be able to re-insert a new link into it and then put it on the blog as an actual link, you know the word here and when you click on here you go there, to the place I want you to be taken. Well, I can't get that to work anymore, so I'm at a loss. Drat it.
If I were a weary pedestrian, I'd be tempted to lie down for a little snooze in the shade of that tree!

ReplyDeleteLovely dappled shade beneath the tree! And love the touch of wild flowers peeking from the green of the grass!
