Good one.It is right in the center.
Used to get a similar effect when I under developed my Tri-X film. Saw the squirrel. Good one!
Your edit greatly enhances the feeling of decay. Nicely done.

There is beauty in decay, especially in the forest. V
I would like to be able to see the original photograph without the processing, Gerald, as a comparative thing. I did see the squirrel and I do very much like the damp (and dank) smells of a forest floor, especially when combined with a swamp.Thank you for your contribution to our Theme Day.
Interesting black & white twist on the theme. Nice that you caught the squirrel.
