Junction Street Triangle

Junction Street coming from Hyde North Station divides here as it reaches the A627. Left leads to Dukinfield Road and Hyde. Right leads to Victoria Road and Ashton under Lyne. On the other side of the main road beyond the tree-lined grassy triangle of ground lies the Village Hotel.

  1. Those leafless trees are like a grand parade against that beautiful sky.

  2. What strikes me is how orderly the trees seem to be, unlike the randomness we'll see in even a small woodlot here. I assume they were all planted together.

  5. Living on Dukinfield Road as a boy growing up during the 1960's this area was known as The Pancake devoid of tree's just a few bushes. Auntie Edith lived in now demolished house to the right of the picture she had a son Colin White.
