Nice photo. The canal seems a bit overgrown just here.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Aldi is all over the place. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteI like that treatment you give to the photos in these themes. One day I just must travel on one of these canals.
ReplyDeleteSpecial edit to b&w, - like it!

ReplyDeleteit must be a nice walk along the Canal...Great shot..
ReplyDeleteThe towpath from the bridge near Aldi to Captain Clarke's bridge is one of the muddiest stretches of the Peak Forest Canal, even in summer!
ReplyDeleteIndeed - at one time it could be avoided by using the path on the other side to the end of Raglan Street where there is a footbridge but the bridge was declared unsafe around 2007 I think and no-one seems to have accepted responsibility for its repair.
DeleteSo much lovely texture.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and cool edit!
ReplyDelete:)
