A couple of weeks ago I went for a walk in Gower Hey Woods but found that a tree had fallen across the duckboards that cross the swampy area below the access from Swain's Valley and the Trans Pennine Trail.
See how it looked in
March.
See more photographs of the fallen tree on
Hyde DP Xtra.
A contribution to
Weekend Reflections.
Quite a contrast between then and now.
ReplyDeleteStunnishing, how the ground looks so grey and the leaves so green... It reminds of one of those photoshopping work where everything is set in B&W except the choice of the artist... Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer May to March - photowise :-)
ReplyDeleteSomebody's got to get to work Monday and clear the way.
