The Weekend in Black and White: Hyde Chapel Spire and Werneth Low
This half-tone image is looking towards the western flank of Werneth Low (about 2km distance) and the spire of Hyde Chapel (about 1km distance).
The original photograph was taken about three weeks ago at the same time as the one of Kite flying on Werneth Low. The right hand edge of that more or less aligns with the left hand edge here.
I took a similar view to this in June 2012 when cows were grazing and storm clouds were brewing.

Nice post for B&W Weekend. Nice edit too!
ReplyDeleteMy eyes go a bit squiffy looking at the 3D effect of the stipples - but I like it a lot, both composition and effect.
ReplyDeleteThe editing creates an amazing "alive" effect! A delightful view in monochrome!
ReplyDeleteA cool edit!
