Red flowers in Clarendon Place


On Sunday I posted a view of September shadows featuring the planters on Clarendon Place.

Today's view is from a different angle looking down the street as a Stagecoach 201 bus from Manchester to Hattersley comes round the corner.

    The red flowers in the sidewalk planter leave a wonderful decoration in the shopping are along the street - this shopping place is so charming and quiet, even with the double decked bus disrupting that charm a bit...

    I am smiling - I almost posted red geraniums today, but changed my mind at the last minute! These add such a cheery touch to the street!

    Love a community that bothers to brighten the area with flowers. They take work and care, so I always think that community cares.
