Lord Kitchener points his finger

As I posted a year ago, the building on the corner of Milk Street and Water Street was once the The Nag's Head.

Now it has opened as a decoratoring supplies store and has enlisted the help of Lord Kitchener with its advertising.

See Hyde DP Xtra for a wider view.

A contribution to signs, signs.

  2. A very artistic presentation of the sign! And some interesting "arty" palettes there too!

  3. I would have been very sad to see the demise of The Old Nag's Head but this is a lovely picture. Isn't that Lord Kitchener pointing his finger at us or am I mistaken?

    1. The Nags Head lost its licence in 1906 - over a century ago - and indeed it is Lord Kitchener - hence the title of the post.
