Shadow across New Beech Street

Autumn is here with many trees starting to shed their leaves but there is more to come yet. This was the only photograph I took today during my first walk around town since coming home last week (see Another Week - Another Hospital).

Despite the sunshine it was quite cold and I didn't stay out long.

  2. Nice colors of Autumn are one of the few treats we can enjoy before the cold and snow of winter. These trees look nice, afraid in the northeast US we had so much rain this summer that the colors are muted this year. Yours is a nice neighborhood!

  6. Beautiful Autumn shot Gerald. So sorry to read about your health predicaments, that must have been pretty scary for you. I do know that the gall bladder taken out by keyhole is not too bad, so hopefully all will go well. Will send you good vibes!!

  7. If you had walked faster, you would have warmed up and thus could have taken more photos! :-)

    SHADOW, SHADOW

    Shadow, shadow drawing near,
    You are all alone, I fear;
    Let me be your new-found friend—
    I’ll stick with you to the end!
