Weekend Reflections in Black & White: Gower Hey Woods
Our part of the UK has suffered nothing in comparison with other areas but we have had some minor flooding.
This is in Gower Hey Woods where the duckboards have been covered over.
See how the whole path looked back in 2009 on Hyde Daily Photo Volume 1.
Check the steps leading out of the woods on Hyde DP Xtra.

A beautiful B&W photo, nice reflections too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a maze of lines!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fine work on this one... I like your settings.
ReplyDeleteWe've been following England's flooding on the news. Looks awful. But this doesn't look too serious, inconvenient, but not serious.
ReplyDeleteI like the use of B and W for this reflection.
ReplyDeleteThe shot looks very striking in black and white.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the path will be in order again... However wonderful reflection ...
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Gerald, glad to hear the only flooding was over the duckboards!
ReplyDeleteThis and your 2009 shot don't look alike...flooding has been terrible and some parts of the world snowing.
ReplyDeleteIn Finland we have less snow than ever and it's been 'warm' - not normal this time of the year!
This reminds me of a program I saw on BBC yesterday about sinkholes. But I enjoyed the pictures with all the lines and structures and the pathe crossing through the water.
ReplyDeleteInteresting image. I assume that duckboards are what we call a boardwalk.
ReplyDeleteWow...a feeling of a magical, mysterious, hidden rendezvous! Love this.
ReplyDeleteGreat patterns, and a lovely group of reflections.
