What a difference a day makes


Sunday afternoon looking across Hyde Civic Square with not a flake of snow or sliver of ice to be seen.

How different it looked on Saturday morning.

Look closely and you'll find several touches of blue for Blue Monday.

    The flag on the Town Hall looks like it is coming out of the clouds or attached to the top of the tree.

    The flag looks as if it is floating down like a kite on the breeze! And love this moody atmosphere in the almost empty square! Quite eerie!

    I now have the song "What a difference a day makes" running through my head! That tree looks rather spooky with its violet branches and the flag appears to be floating in mid air.
