Shadow Shot Sunday: Bench in the snow

A blanket of snow had fallen overnight leaving the market ground very icy - see Hyde DP Xtra.

By mid-morning, the sun was out and casting the shadow of a bench over the now melting slush.

A contribution to Shadow Shot Sunday.

  1. I suspect there was lots of slipping and sliding in this market today, Gerald!! Terrific shadow shot for the day, though!! Hope your weekend is going well!

  4. That looks like a rather slippery, thin blanket! But the shadows look wonderful on such a gorgeous patterned and textured palette!

  6. Wonderful shadow shot. Snow makes a great backdrop for shadows, but I could do with out the icy part.
