A changing view


A look across Stockport Road at Hattersley with St Michael and All Angels church at Mottram in Longendale clear in the background.

See how it looked in September 2008.

The church was still visible but little could be seen behind the hoardings apart from the monkey puzzle tree. A new supermarket is being built now on the site and the tree was moved to a new location down the road. See it now on Hyde DP Xtra.

  1. Ah...progress - sometimes it's good sometimes not so much!

    Thanks for the comment on my blog - yes it is 21 here in Oregon but I think in some states it's 18 that you can purchase and drink alcohol.
