Shadow Shot Sunday: Steps to Godley Station

Last week I showed you shadows on Godley Station.

Here now are the shadows on the first set of steps leading up to the station.

There are two sets of steps to climb up to get to the platform and it would have been nice to have been able to sit down whilst waiting for the train but I only had a couple of minutes to wait.

More shadows can be found at Hey Harriet.

  1. Fun shot...love the blue rails to help one with the climb!

  2. They are shallow, so one would not get too out of breath from the climb.

  3. An enchanting little entrance to a railway platform! Almost like entering a cottage!

  5. Nice wide steps and a good solid,shadow-making hand rail to grip for the climb to the platform. Happy SSS!!

  7. This looks like a gentle incline, not something to make you huff and puff to get to the station!

    SHADOW DITTY

    Shadows of onyx, shadows of grey,
    Shadows to chase my doldrums away;
    Shadows each morning, shadows at night,
    Shadows, O shadows, you’re my delight!
