Changes in Clarendon Place
The discount grocery store on Clarendon Place closed down a few months ago. Since then the outside of the building has been replastered. It looks as if it is due to reopen soon as a furniture store.
Behind the store is the Queens hotel with its distinctive chimneys, whilst above the Clarendon Mall is the apartment block, John Grundy House.
On Hyde DP Xtra you can see before and after shots of the plastering on the side of the store.

All change again Gerald - it was the TSB before the bank moved over the road. Unsure what it was before that. Knowing old Hyde, probably another pub!
