Car Park Charges on Chapel Street


This is a composite photograph featuring two seperate signs.

On Chapel Street, either side of Oldham Street, are two car parks.

One is owned and run by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. The charges that apply between 8 am and midnight Mon-Sat including bank holidays are:
up to 30 minutes - 50p (8am - 6pm)
up to 3 hours - £1 (8am - 6pm)
All Day - £2 (8am - midnight)
Evenings - £1 (6pm - midnight)
No charge on Sundays
Blue-badge holders are allowed an extra hour free on top of the paid-for time.

The other is owned by private company Simple Intelligent Parking and their tarrifs which apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including bank holidays are:
1hr 70p
2hrs £1.40
3hrs £2.10
4hrs £2.70
12hrs £3.20
24hrs £4.00
