Although it was very cold a week ago there was a strong sun shining which cast shadows on the hair salon and the old Clarendon Gift Shop which used to have some lovely antiques for sale but sadly has been closed now for several years.
You can a glimpse something of the street it is on in the second photograph in my post on Hyde DP Xtra about an uncivil incident at noon yesterday.

Those spindly, leafless branches and shadows create quite a drama across the shop front. Lovely street scene.
