Sweet Memories


Another photograph from Friday's Christmas Lights switch-on event at Hyde Civic Square.

Among the several stalls on the market was Kershaw's Old Fashioned Sweet Emporium.

    Mittens, wooly hats and anoraks - yep looks like the UK that I know and love! Don't miss the weather but wish I was there for the old fashioned lollies!

    Children and candy--you can't have a better combination.

    I remember during the Nixen administration when the US cut back on Christmas lights. What a bummer!
