Equitable shadows and reflections

Formerly a warehouse for the Hyde Equitable Co-operative Society on Railway Street. The middle floors are occupied but the top floor offices and basement storage area are currently to let.

The tree in front not only throws its shadow across the brickwork but is also reflected in the windows of the building.

  5. Looks like a strong building determined to weather the passing faces of time! The tree's reflection is so beautifully defined and contrasts well with its echoing soft shadow on the brickwork!

  6. The brick is from the past, and gives this edifice the look of quality from a different era. The building is best left standing and used for different purposes these days. I like the window/door arches, such style add a nice touch to a building built for its function first. Great capture!

    MANY SHADOW-SEEKERS SAY

    Many shadow-seekers say,
“Oh, the one that got away!”

Why are you so uptight, folks?
Can’t you take light’s little jokes?
