One the new sleek-looking First Group buses on the #387 route from Ashton to Hyde via Ridge Hill, Stalybridge and Hattersley stopping in Clarendon Place.

    Buses are still in fashion here, but a great many fewer then 30 years ago. There was a time. They were everywhere.
