Nice photo. The canal seems a bit overgrown just here.
Looks like Aldi is all over the place. Tom The Backroads Traveller
I like that treatment you give to the photos in these themes. One day I just must travel on one of these canals.
Special edit to b&w, - like it!My post: https://hanshb.wordpress.com/
Quite nicely done working with this shot.
Beautiful! I'd love to travel on the canals.
This shot works well in B & W. Have a lovely weekend.
The post-treatment make the view so strange !
it must be a nice walk along the Canal...Great shot..
The towpath from the bridge near Aldi to Captain Clarke's bridge is one of the muddiest stretches of the Peak Forest Canal, even in summer!
Indeed - at one time it could be avoided by using the path on the other side to the end of Raglan Street where there is a footbridge but the bridge was declared unsafe around 2007 I think and no-one seems to have accepted responsibility for its repair.
So much lovely texture.
Great shot and cool edit!:)
That's so awesome in black and white--so much contrast!
