Thought I'd post a little puzzle today.
I'll reveal its secret later in the week when I might surprise some people although I expect a few might be familiar with it.
Just one clue, it wasn't here this time last year but similar things have been appearing around the country for more than a decade.
A contribution to
The Weekend in Black and White.
Update: for the answer see
here.
It's an intriguing shape, and a fine subject for black and white.
ReplyDeleteNo idea, but I like what you've done with it!
ReplyDeleteYou've created quite a puzzle for us. Visual clues: there is a water drop on the lower left. By its size, I think this is not as huge as it appears. The tiny dotted texture looks to be from your processing, so the object may, in reality, be smooth. But, Im stumped.
ReplyDeleteA wild guess, some kind of sun dial ---where the sun shines through the hole and tells the time by where it lands.
Great image Gerald.. could it be a salad fork....
ReplyDeleteIt does have a Christmassy feel, but I suppose that is to easy.
ReplyDeleteLooks as though it may be on the Trans Pennine Trail and National Cycle Network Route 62?
ReplyDeleteIntriguing photo!
