When we paid our regular visit to
Lady Lavender's tea shop last week we were struck by the blue teapot with its cup-cake decoration.
A glass of milk for my son, a cappuccino for my wife, tea for me (note the need for a strainer) and a toasted teacake between us.
You can see some of Clare's cupcakes for sale in the background.
Now stop salivating.
A contribution to
Blue Monday.
Looks nice. A fun and colourful tea pot is what I am after, so I would have asked about where the owner had bought it.....
ReplyDeleteAnyway, still looking.
Happy new week!
Greetings from me at a very stormy Stavanger area.Autumn has arrived.
Very civilised having afternoon tea and teacakes. Something I must do again
ReplyDeleteThat teacake looks delicious, great shot!
ReplyDeleteHi Gerald,
ReplyDeleteImpossible for me to stop salivating! What a delightful setting. I adore that tea pot with its blue cup.
When we traveled to England, we enjoyed tea everyday. It's a terrific tradition!
Have a Happy Blue Monday!
It's a neat teapot, and I expect I'd be quite happy to stop in there for a cup of Earl Grey.
ReplyDeleteLove your teapot. I collect cups. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a totally cute teapot!
