Cone and broken bench

A broken bench on Hyde Civic Square taped around and marked with a cone.

Vandalism, accident or excessive wear and tear?

Take a look at it when it was new back in September 2012.

  1. It can't be wear and tear after only two years, so it must be one of the first two.

  2. What a pity they didn't remove it instead of making it into an eyesore.

  5. I love this photo, it made me chuckle but it's a shame that the bench has been ruined like that.

  6. I don't know...I was wondering why they had to tape it off like that? Maybe to make it more visible?

  10. Very well spotted! The parallel lines are great for a composition, and there is lots of humour in this one.

  11. Sadly I fear it might be the former, although it does look it has taken a bit of a battering over the years!
