Clarendon Place Fenced Off

With work to demolish the multi-storey car park having started, Clarendon Place is closed to inbound traffic and the road fenced off although pedestrians are being allowed to use the roadway as a footpath.

A contribution to Good Fences.

  1. Interesting photo with so much to take in: the store front, walkway with the reddish orange fencing and the fenced off parking garage.

  5. Interesting photo. Historic buildings with newer structure and the newer structure becoming history. I hope it is being replaced with beauty. The colors that accent the red/orange fence work nicely as well.

  9. It reminds me of construction sites here that are diverting traffic as well, though the orange fence is something different!

  10. Are those shops on the left open or empty? I ask, because so many high streets now I hear are only half or less occupancy in the UK. I'll have to photograph our current roadworks, not at all pretty.
