ABC Wednesday: D is for Debra
Of all the many charity shops in Hyde, the Debra shop in Clarendon Mall is one of the most spacious. We pop in most times we are passing and enjoy chatting with their friendly staff.
Debra is the national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). It has over 100 shops across the UK.
A contribution to ABC Wednesday.

Interesting charity and name.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a horrid disease.
Gee, is this a disease that is rampant in the UK? We have many types of charity shops here, but I've never heard of this. Kudos, though.

I love to shop at charity shops. That conditions sounds horrible...
ReplyDeleteSo happy that pain is now considered something worth addressing.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I've heard of the disease or not...the condition sounds familiar, though I might not have heard of the specific disease's name.
ReplyDeleteAren't we all!
ReplyDeleteI've seen the shops but didn't know what the initials stood for. Looks a good place to have a rummage
