Sign of the Cheshire Ring
The sign for the Cheshire Ring pub features canal boats on the nearby Peak Forest Canal.
The Cheshire Ring is a 97 mile long circular canal route with 92 locks. It takes in the whole of the Macclesfield Canal and parts of the Trent and Mersey, Bridgewater, Rochdale, Ashton and Peak Forest Canals. More information can be found on the Pennine Waterways website.
The Cheshire Ring pub can be seen on Hyde DP Xtra.

That's a lot of locks in that canal. You would need a few pub stops!
ReplyDeleteA sign that the locals would understand, but tourists, not so much, maybe?
