Sign for Hyde Lads Club


This sign on the Beeley Street car park is all that is left of Hyde Lads Club which closed in 1992 and subsequently demolished.

    One can only imagine what the Hyde Lads Club gets up to. What ever it is, they must have a good time.

    I was a member of the lads club in 1960 and also in the gymnastic team which was run by Derek Booth, the best gymnast in the club was
    Bert Nunn we were also helped by Jack Flaherty......great days
