Over the bridge


A view across the footbridge on the western side of the bus station over the M67 motorway.

The chimney in the background belonged to the former Winterbotham's tripe dressing factory, now Hyde Industrial Supplies and survives as a support for mobile phone masts.

    I like the worn texture of the bridge, and I think it's great to use the old chimney rather than build a new and ugly mast!

    Somehow this bridge seems to be appropriate for black and white, especially after seeing Woody's contribution to Sunday Bridges!.
