Friday Fences: Russell Street
Behind the railings on the right is the storage area for Tameside Caravans. In 2011 the area was overgrown with cherry laurel. In 2012 it was overrun with Senecio Brachyglottis- greyi, a kind of New Zealand aster.
Now that seems to have been all cleared away and a grass verge laid on the inside of the compound. Some little yellow flowers are growing around the corner and can be seen on Hyde DP Xtra.
A contribution to Friday Fences.

ReplyDeleterazor wire on top should keep folks out. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice and neat. I guess they want to keep thieves out by the look of the top of that fence.
ReplyDeleteGlad someone took an interest and made improvements.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pity that fences are needed at all. Nice post though ;-)

Now the terrain is overgrown with caravans. I am afraid that in the long run its an inferior option.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very secure storage place.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a tall fence.
ReplyDeleteAt least the railings prevent the caravans from overrunning the pavement.
