Low bridge sign

Last Friday I posted a view of Dukinfield Road.

Here today is a closer view of the low bridge warning sign. The bridge in question is the one by Hyde North Station which you can see in an old post from May 2008.

In the background, between the sign and the belisha beacon, is the sign for the Village Hotel.

A contribution to signs, signs.

  1. We traveled with our fifth wheel trailer, which was 12 feet tall at its highest point. You can be sure that we were constantly on the lookout for bridge heights!

  2. Frankly I haven't seen a sign like this before today. Nice to know.

  3. It is nice of them to put it in both metric and imperial measurements!
