Friday Fences: Shrubs on Greenfield Street.

Back in July 2006 there was a flower bed with some lovely sunflowers outside the Town Hall toilets on Greenfield Street.

By August 2007 the flowers had been replaced by shrubs and the toilets closed.

Now the toilets are still closed, the shrubs have matured and been enclosed by a low ornamental fence.

A contribution to Friday Fences.

  1. Ever changing plots of land. I like the past photos of the site.

  2. A funny muddle of tended and neglected.

  4. I guess they got tired of tending the flowers...thought shrubs would be easier. Then they fenced it to "keep people out" but it's a handsome fence!

  5. Those doors, peeling paint and all, have so much character! It is interesting to see an ornamental fence right beside them.
