ABC Wednesday: O is for Oops...
I was crossing the western footbridge to the bus station over the M67 motorway last week. I noticed a car parked on the hard shoulder just past the slip round and near the eastern footbridge.
I zoomed in and saw that the occupants were out of the car waiting by the barrier with a spare tyre and a car-jack. Presumably they were waiting for one of the breakdown services to come and change a flat tyre.
A contribution to ABC Wednesday.

That is sad when the guy can't change a tyre.
ReplyDeleteA flat tyre is a rare sight these days, and many care don't even have a proper spare tyre (they seem to have one of these "toy wheels".
ReplyDeleteIn France people who go to an "auto-ecole" before taking the "examen du permis de conduire" (driving license) have had to learn how to change a flat tyre on their car. But only for a few years. I did not have to learn how to change a tyre and would be unable to do it in 2013, all the more as the car I drive now is huge and heavy. :-)
ReplyDeleteRe your comment: I have heard that the owner's wife is an artist.
