School Fence
Today's post features the fence at St George's Church of England Primary School. I showed you a little bit of the school in September 2010 but here is a closer view of the surrounding fence.
A day school first existed here in 1836 but was replaced by a new school in 1870. Extensions were made in 1895 and 1913. The stone wall below the fence is part of the perimeter of the "new school". The old buildings were replaced by modern classrooms in 1978.

That's a bright colour for a fence! Nice shot.
