Someone called Alan who now lives in New Zealand asked me if I could photograph the view from outside 42 Gower Road looking towards the allotments, the valley of the Gower Hey Brook and Westend Lane in the far background.

ReplyDeletewhat a beutiful photo. in one way it makes you shiver - but the warm glow from the sun going down on the left, reflected on the terraced houses in the right-hand background really makes the picture special.
this area is really special to me and my family. our dad used to have an allotment in the distance to the left before the foxholes estate was built. then he had to share an allotment with friends near st. georges church where they had racing pigeons.
