Tranquility on the Peak Forest Canal

The CDPB theme is "Tranquility" so what else should I photograph but the Peak Forest Canal from our favourite vantage point, the Manchester Road bridge?

  1. Lovely and peaceful and quiet, Gerald. Even if a bit on the brown side. Are they willows weeping over on the right?

  2. There is a tranquility to so many parts of our glorious canal network. Not so sure about the buildings on the left and the hoardings though!

  8. What a gorgeous place. It is absolutely beautiful. The reflections are lovely. Surely wish I were there instead of here in the rainy mountains of VA. genie

  9. That is a peaceful scene. It makes me wonder if there are any fish in that canal. Also, I love the trail alongside the water.
