Ahhhh! Thankyou for posting this. I'm a little bit ashamed to admit this the humble Greggs sausage roll rates number 2 on my list of food that I miss from home. It has to be fresh out of the oven so the pastry still has that give in it. Eaten straight from the paper bag outside on a cold day. mmmmmmmmmmm. It's up there with a decent chicken jal frezi.
Hi Gerald. Sad if there are no independent bakeries in Hyde. There are plenty in Manchester city centre and the southern suburbs I frequent. I think the infamous Gregg's pastys and meat products and sugary foods are partly to blame for the UK obesity crisis. I advocate a unhealthy food tax!Chrissy from Manchester: a photo a day at Mancunian Wave

Every city should have several good bakeries!
Good photo for theme day.
Yep, corporate food sure is here to stay.
Great mean to measure time and life. May they be able to feed many. Please have a good new month ahead.
Looks enticing - but where are the customers?
