What a difference a couple of seasons makes! The almost spring view is tantalizing in that the warmer weather growth means that the seasonal change is nigh. The total green will be such a treat!
Looks like a small wild animal's cage jammed between 2 concrete slabs! And looks like a lot of rubble has been left there - as if something was semi-built after ripping out all the ground cover in your earlier photo! The shadows give a lovely texture to the scene!
Circa 1994 the culvert blocked and the water backing up in Gower Hey Woods caused a lake to form and paths became impassable. It took several weeks before the blockage was removed and the waters subsided.
This looks like a place to go to get away from it all--except for the shadows, of course. You just can't get away from shadows, except in a pitch-black room!
That's an interesting cage around the concrete culvert. Such a lovely path for a walk!
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow shot for the day and what a lovely place to walk! Enjoy your weekend!

Quite a contrast between the two photos. I love the little pops of green, as spring arrives!

ReplyDeleteA dungeone?
ReplyDeleteThe season really make open my thoughts. Look at the green grass compare to the dreary gray stones?
With some whisk of sun rays? Fenomenal.
