Looking past the once-closed but now reopened Gardner's Arms towards the former Globe Inn on the corner of Walker Lane. The Globe is being converted (like so many ex-pubs) into apartments.

ReplyDeletei was once the manager of the globe back in the early 90s when it was refurbished it was a lovley pub then it such a shame to see this happing to the old pubs,not just up north but down here in the south as well.
