Tesco are building a superstore on land at Hattersley. The land used to be occupied by houses but these were demolished some years when the estate was re-generated.

Here in Llandudno we have a Sainsbury's due to open in the New Year, nothing bulldozed to make room for it though. It's taking over what was the old Woolworth site in the centre of town.
