Sepia Scenes: Woodend Lane

Yesterday I showed you a part of Woodend Lane.

Today's view is of the urban end of the lane at its junction with Great Norbury Street.

Originally "The George" public house, the end property has been converted for residential use.

Visit Sepia Scenes for more sepia shots.

  1. The change from the country side of the lane to the urban side is quite stark! Yesterday, it was quiet sand cars, today, we are now in the center and there are cars and people at work. A nice contrast, and even the town center looks tidy and orderly in the sepia hue...

  2. This plot was originally the vicarage for St Georges across the road, many years ago but i'm not sure if it was the same building.
