Sepia Scene: Long Meadow Passage
Long Meadow Passage leads from Market Street into what is now a car park at the end of Clarendon Street and close to the bus station.
It once ran to Long Meadow Mill but that was demolished as long ago as the 1900s.
The bollard at the end now prevents its access to motor vehicles.
I showed you the view in the opposite direction in March 2010 and a view of the Market Street entrance in July 2008.
